When asked, many Christians will say that they observe the first day of the week instead of the seventh because Christ rose from the dead on that day and authorized Christians to observe the day in honor of His Resurrection instead of the seventh-day Sabbath. There are only eight texts in the New Testament that refer to Sunday, and by carefully studying these verses we can be certain that all the evidence for consideration is before us. If there is any biblical authority for keeping the first day of the week, it will have to be found in one of these verses. Let us see what the bible has to say on this important topic as we study from verse to verse!

What is the True orgin of Christmas?
I am sure many have wondered whether or not Jesus was born on the 25th of December. In fact, for the first 300 years, Christmas was never celebrated by the early Christian church. And it is almost impossible to imagine by some that Christmas would fall on any other day. The word Christmas means the mass of Christ. It is a (mass) celebration, which is sometimes called Eucharist, of the birth of Christ, His death and resurrection. Today Christmas is wrapped in superstition and merrymaking, but Christ seems to have been forgotten by the majority on this day. Which has led many Christians to repeat and circulate, as a reminder, the cliche Jesus is the reason for the season. On the other hand, the 25th of December has a history of pagan beliefs and customs and has little to do with Christ’s birth. Let us delve into the startling truth behind this widely celebrated holiday.

Is There a Secret Rapture?
This question has been confusing many theologians and others in Christendom; thousands around the world are in belief of a secret rapture. According to this view, the coming of Jesus will be in two separate events. First, He will come secretly to take His church to heaven, which is before or during the seven year tribulation period, during which the Antichrist is to reign over the Earth. Secondly, after the tribulation, Christ comes in an open demonstration of power and glory with His church. But nowhere in the bible can we support this teaching of the secret rapture.
