Is There a Secret Rapture?

This question has been confusing many theologians and others in Christendom; thousands around the world are in belief of a secret rapture. According to this view, the coming of Jesus will be in two separate events. First, He will come secretly to take His church to heaven, which is before or during the seven year tribulation period, during which the Antichrist is to reign over the Earth. Secondly, after the tribulation, Christ comes in an open demonstration of power and glory with His church. But nowhere in the bible can we support this teaching of the secret rapture. What does the bible reveal to us about this secret?

Should a Christian wear make up and/or jewelry?

A frequently asked question, or I should say, a hot button in Christianity, whether a Christian man or woman becoming of modesty should wear makeup and/or jewelry. In this postmodern age, it is almost as if when you touch someone’s preferences, you do not have love. The church have gone into a state of relativism, rather than the self denial that Jesus speaks about in Matthew 16:24, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” We should not be asking, what is the least that I can do to be saved, but rather, what can I do to please my Lord. If it is not church  policy, but a biblical principle, a self-denying Christian should not have a problem with obeying a thus saith the Lord.

Sprinkling of water or aspersian, is used as an alternate mode of baptism. This act is also performed as a reminder for people of their baptism, such as the renewal of baptismal vows performed by the Roman Catholic Church on Easter. “The church (Roman Catholic) at one time practiced immersion. This was up to the thirteenth century. The Council of Ravenna, in 1311, changed the form from immersion to pouring.” (Our Faith and the Facts, p. 399). Who/what is the stone of Daniel 2?

A very simple yet complex passage that has one to wonder at the meaning of the stone in Daniel Two. Previous in this chapter, we saw Kingdom after kingdom, rise and fall, but the stone seem to be the last to stand. The daniel and revelation are books written in symbols, so the carnal mind will not understand those things which are spiritual. May we pray in our hearts that the Lord might reveal the meaning of Daniel’s dream to us all.
